Welcome to Hound Hollow

Jurgen and Joan live with their fourteen Bassets and one Bloodhound (who thinks she is a Basset) in Rhoadesville, VA. They got their first basset in 1987 and fell in love with the Breed. In 1997 they purchased their first show bitch Thompson’s Hound Hollow Abby from Obie Kennel in Dahlonega Georgia, from then on it was Bassets, Bassets and more Bassets. Showing, Breeding, Basset Artwork and caring for their dogs is a full time job. A Job they both Love!

They are members of the Basset Hound Club of America, Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD), and the Potomac Basset Hound Club
